After the big Kia EV9 and EV6 based on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) 800V and the compact EV5 based on the N3 eK, here comes another EV model

Kia unveiled the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 at the brand’s EV day in Tarragona, Spain on 27 March. The three new models define Kia’s latest phase of its electrification strategy. The Kia PV5 is the first vehicle from the brand’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy.

At EV Day, Kia presents the EV4 as a hatchback and fastback, the small SUV EV2 as a study and the PV5 utility vehicle series as passenger car and cargo chassis.

Kia has pulled off the double by winning the UK Car of the Year Awards two years in a row. Following on from the Kia EV9’s triumph in 2024, the EV3 has been named overall victor in 2025. It’s also the fourth year in succession that the top prize has gone to an electric vehicle.

The Kia EV4 2026 arrives as the brand’s first electric sedan, offering a more affordable option for the U.S. market, with an estimated price starting at $35,000.

Kia Corporation unveiled its new PV5 at the 2025 Kia EV Day, held in Tarragona, Spain. The PV5, a mid-sized Car Derived Van (CDV), is the first production model to debut under Kia’s dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) global business strategy.
