Angel Martínez had three hits, José Ramírez homered and the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-3 Tuesday night for their fourth win in five games since the All-Star break. Kyle Manzardo and Bryan Rocchio each drove in a pair of runs as the Guardians have won 10 of 12 after a 10-game losing streak to get back to .500 at 50-50.

CLEVELAND — The Guardians face the Baltimore Orioles as Cleveland, for really the first time this season, looks to continue the recent offensive surge. The Guardians are coming off of a 10-5 win on July 21, and they've averaged more than six runs over their last 11 games.

Every time the Orioles knocked on the door in Cleveland tonight, the Guardians answered. The Guardians started early and finished last Tuesday night, much to the chagrin of the Orioles, who could not keep pace. Three batters into the first inning, Jose Ramirez hit his 21st homer and the Guardians delivered a steady stream of offense on the way to a 6-3 win at Progressive Field.

The Guardians twice came back from a deficit to beat the Orioles, 10-5, on a night in which Cleveland collected 14 hits.

The Guardians used a left-handed starter and stacked nine lefties and/or switch-hitters in their lineup to beat the Orioles on Tuesday.

Cleveland Guardians fans haven't forgotten about Josh Naylor, but they do feel much better about the trade that sent him to the Arizona Diamondbacks last Dec. 21.

The Guardians (49-50) have won nine of their last 11 games since ending their 10-game losing streak. They trail first-place Detroit by 10 games and are 3 1/2 games behind the Red Sox for the third wild card spot. Tampa Bay (52-49) and Texas (51-50) are in front of them.
