With the promotion of Josh Elander to head coach, Tennessee baseball obviously had an opening on staff to fill — and they swung for the fences. According to reports, Elander has tapped Chuck Jeroloman from Florida to be his top assistant and recruiting coordinator, stealing away one of the top young names in college baseball from the rival Gators.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-- Florida Gators baseball's interim head coach, Chuck Jeroloman, is reportedly leaving the program for a job with one of the team's top rivals.

With head coach Kevin O’Sullivan taking a leave of absence and interim Chuck Jeroloman leaving for Tennessee, Florida has hired Tom Slater as associate head coach and acting head coach.
