The Cheshire school teacher whose threatening rant about the outcome of the 2024 presidential election went viral this week has resigned from her position.

Annie Dunleavy, a special education teacher at Chapman Elementary School in Cheshire, resigned effective immediately Wednesday, the superintendent said.
