Billups has been placed on leave following his arrest on Thursday for allegedly participating in rigged poker games.

Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier, and Damon Jones were taken into custody Thursday in connection with alleged illegal gambling operations dating back to 2019.

Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups were among more than 30 people arrested Thursday morning in connection with two separate indictments that deal with illegal poker and sports betting schemes.

Many in a Denver high school community are appreciating Chauncey Billups's impact on and off the court. It comes after he was arrested by the FBI in connection with two investigations involving a sports betting scheme and an organized crime ring.
