Manchester United have stepped on the gas in the chase for a new striker. According to multiple reports (via BBC ), the Red Devils have made a formal bid worth €85 million (£73.8m) for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. The package includes a guaranteed €75m, with €10m in add-ons.

Manchester United have submitted their first offer to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko ahead of Newcastle United, according to reports in Germany. Newcastle submitted their opening bid for Sesko over the weekend but their offer of €75m (£65.5m) up front, plus an additional €5m (£4.3m) in bonuses, was rejected by RB Leipzig.

Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahović as an alternative to Benjamin Šeško, it has emerged.The Red Devils settled on Šeško as their priority striker target late last month but find themselves locked in a transfer battle with Newcastle United,
