APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz — The Apache Junction community is gathering to mourn Officer Gabriel Facio, who died in the line of duty, at his funeral Monday morning. Officer Facio died last Sunday, six days after he was shot in the face while responding to a call about a man brandishing a weapon near Ironwood Drive and Elliot Road.
