Netflix is staging a Game of Thrones reunion. Alfie Allen has joined the cast of 3 Body Problem, reuniting TV’s erstwhile Theon Greyjoy with Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Character details are being kept under wraps.

Netflix's hit sci-fi drama 3 Body Problem was renewed for a second and third season in 2024, a little while after the first season premiered on the streamer. The summer has seen production plans ramp up significantly in recent weeks with new characters being cast and the potential of the story heading to a new location.

As announced by Netflix today, Game of Thrones alum Alfie Allen has joined the cast of 3 Body Problem season 2 in a mystery role. That’s great news for fans of George R.R. Martin’s world, of course, as now the sophomore installment is basically just a big Thrones reunion—again.
