Created through the vision and dedication of avid golfers, the Pines Country Club filled a void left by the closing of Morgantown Country Club. Its 18-hole championship course was laid out by pro designer Edmund Ault, and shaped by the rolling hills of West Virginia. Our private golf club, incorporated in 1968 and officially opened to shareholders in 1970, is still considered the best golfing experience in the Morgantown area. In addition to its course, the Pines offers a driving range and putting green, a winter simulator, heated swimming pool, clubhouse facilities with lockers and showers, a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and banquet facilities for your special events. The restaurant, Clubhouse Grill and Catering, is open to the public. As a member of the United States Golf Association, the Pines Country Club works with the USGA to offer a modern, computerized handicap system.
