My wife and I enjoyed the scenery as we drove through Provo Canyon. The highlight was the easy hike to The Bridal Veil Falls viewpoint. We did not go further up the trail. Full review by 22explorer22

Provo Canyon is north of Provo and it is a beautiful drive. The main north/south street in Provo is University Avenue (do not confuse University Parkway which runs east/west. Heading north on University Avenue keep to the right and it will take you directly into the canyon. You will soon see Bridal Veil falls to the right and the scenery continues to amaze. As you leave the canyon you drive across Deer Creek dam and continuing north to Heber which is a very nice town to visit. From there you may want to continue to Park City or just turn around and head back down past Deer Creek reservoir and into the canyon again. It is a lovely drive. Heber is about 25 miles north of Provo. Have fun.
We are looking at taking the Provo Canyon Scenic Byway today Feb 21. We have an SUV with M&S tires (no 4 wheel drive) and are pulling a 17 foot travel trailer. Is this the best road to take? Heading to Grand Junction CO from Park City.

From PC the best route to take with a trailer would be I80 to I15. I think that is the route Google Maps would have you go.
