It is worth stopping for a look at the palace if visiting Muscat. The building is impressive and colourful, but you cannot go inside. The surrounding district is lovely and full of museums. Full review by NICHOLAS T

Beautiful architecture and colourful palace of the sultans in Oman. Very much accessible from the city as well, and has good parking. Easy to visit. Must visit if you're in Muscat city Full review by gkt4263
