Gorgeous place with a huge body of water, marble tiles, and a fun “I love NY” sign on the outside. Expect lots of walking inside - it’s quite a big building. Full review by Princes5xo

This a beautiful building inside and out. The area where it is located had a welcoming feeling. It is limited in seeing the inside but doesn't detour from the history. Full review by 1991KEB

The dome and tower were never completed, as it was found the building's weight was causing stress fractures and making the building shift downhill toward State Street. To stop this movement, a large, 166-foot (51 m) long exterior Eastern Staircase was added to support the front facade.

On Weekends the lot just toward the river from the State Museum on Madison is my favorite choice. Museum, Tower Building view, Capital are some good things to link together. There are some military monument areas outside that are not well advertised. You can walk outside on the Concourse or inside. Paid parking under the concourse. If you park there please park near an elevator so it is easy to find your car on the way out. Street parking East and North of the Capital is available on weekends. During the week expect to pay and see the ogs site noted above.
