It was so easy and relaxed. We saw dolphins, seals, lots of birds. A really different experience .. we loved it. Learned about the history and the land _ well worth your time. Full review by Kay C

There were short bursts of speed on the outward journey, stopping frequently to view landmarks and circling an Albatross. The return journey took about an hour at high speed apart from stopping to view and then following some dolphin. It was quite bumpy and the acceleration was akin to taking off on a plane. My wife survived it and enjoyed it, despite not being an adrenalin junky and is terrified of flying.

We do have a toilet, however it is a small porta toilet and located under our steering column. Not the most luxurious of amenities, but there for use if needed. Cheers Alisha

It's an easy 2 hour drive along a stunning coastline. As others have said, it really is a beautiful coastline and well worth spending some extra time, basing yourself in Bicheno will certainly put you just over an hour away.
